- To manage a portfolio and assist Senior Bankers in covering Hong Kong Real Estate Accounts
- To implement strategy and action plans for the accounts responsible for
- To evaluate and make judgments on the credit risk applications and to be accountable for portfolio under management
- To engage in structuring of credit facilities, providing innovative solution to clients and cross-selling of full suite of banking products such as T&M, Cash Management, DCM, ECM, M&A etc. as well as explore financing possibilities.
- To have close collaboration and strengthen connectivity with DBS network, leveraging on franchise and product capability to increase revenue share, and to scale / replicate across the ecosystem
- Prepare credit applications (quantitative and qualitative client analysis), credit renewal, term sheets and undertake periodic review of credit files ensuring accuracy, timeliness and supported by sufficient depth of analysis and synthesized industry insights
- Evaluate financial models with P&L, B/S and cash-flow projections based on sound business and market assumptions with high level of competence
- Ensure quality, accuracy, and relevance of high-quality pitches to clients by product partners
- Monitor and manage accounts actively, being alert to credit deterioration or improvement, and taking timely action including elevation to senior bankers and credit.
- Lead loan & security documentation and negotiations with high degree of competence
- Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years relevant experience
- Relationship management experience in Corporate Banking and / or covering Real Estate Industry would be plus
- Good understanding and appreciation as well as ability to mitigate transactional risks
- Demonstrated willingness to learn, self-motivated and committed to a career in the Real Estate space
- Strong credit and financial analytical skills, with ability to prepare credit applications and interpret financial data to make decisions
- Strong interpersonal, communication and written skills
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external partners
- Results-oriented and strong business connections in identifying and developing business opportunities
- Independent, self-motivated and strong team player with ability to work in multicultural team
