- Develop and service fixed income institutional client base, including banks, fund managers/asset managers, insurance companies, proprietary desks, private banks, etc.;
- Provide fixed income dealing and market making services to Institutional, Corporate PI and Individual PI clients;
- Trading in fixed income products, mainly focus on Chinese names;
- Collect market information and trading data, prepare in-house market commentary in a timely manner, generate investment and trade ideas, compile valid information for clients and explore potential trading opportunities;
- Answer clients' queries and ensure problems solved, cultivate relationships with banks and counterparties in support of our access to liquidity.
- Degree holder in Finance or related discipline;
- Understand China Fixed Income Market and the dynamics, connection with major market participant;
- Minimum 4 years' experience in Fixed Income sales/trading;
- Demonstrate an understanding of front to back trade flows as well as risk and P&L;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese including Mandarin and Cantonese;
- Highly disciplined, be careful to details, organized and well-planned with a strong desire to succeed.
