- Conducting risk and control self-assessments and ensuring necessary actions are taken.
- Following up on issues from audits and implementing necessary corrections.
- Completing periodic customer due diligence reviews promptly.
- Tracking key risk indicators to enhance control standards.
- Preparing reports for risk and control committees.
- Collaborating with Compliance for KYC processes and AML monitoring.
- Providing support in various tasks under Governance & Controls.
- Updating AML procedures and manuals.
- Supervising and coaching junior team members.
- Supporting the role of AML Champion and other related responsibilities.
- Supporting units within IBG to ensure compliance with policies and regulations.
- Conducting compliance checks and documenting results.
- Offering advisory support on compliance and risk controls.
- Assisting in exercises related to regulations, AML, audit, or risks.
- Conducting training sessions for staff on compliance and risk areas.
- Developing and implementing Quality Assurance for CDD reviews.
- Reviewing and communicating AML/CFT information.
- Monitoring remedial actions for deficiencies in AML controls.
- Stay updated on AML/CFT regulations and developments.
- Providing advice on AML matters for new banking products.
- University degree in Law, Banking, Finance, or related fields.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the banking industry.
- Knowledge of regulatory policies and industry practices.
- Understanding of banking internal control policies.
- Experience in compliance, regulatory areas, or audit/accountancy.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Customer service-oriented with good communication skills.
- Team player with in-depth knowledge of banking operations.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
