- Oversee the trading applications of Equities & Derivatives Trading on various APAC markets in Windows/Linux platform.
- Support traders by troubleshooting and diagnosing functional and technical issues in the production environment.
- Manage and track daily production problems and user requests; ensure effective and timely resolution and communication to the client; report bugs back to local/overseas development teams.
- Handle business-driven or exchange-driven projects.
- Conduct system Quality Assurance testing, perform deployment or upgrade of mission-critical trading applications and systems.
- Ensure adequate performance and operation of the systems - monitor the performance/operation, diagnose and address any problems.
- Follow ITIL Application Support methodology for incident escalation and system change management procedures.
- Provide system and process documentation.
- Be prepared for morning/lunch shift duty, weekend and holiday work as required.
- University qualification with an IT Major.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in trading support.
- Good business knowledge of cash and derivatives products and market rules.
- Experience with system monitoring.
- Good technical/scripting knowledge in a Linux/Unix environment.
- Proactive, results-driven, with strong decision-making and analytical skills.
- Innovative with the ability to identify and implement process improvements.
- Strong team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Excel/VBA.
- Proficiency with Python in Linux & Windows environments.
- Fluent in English.
