Job Posting DetailsThe Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering is looking for a responsible, self-motivated and high caliber candidate to fill an Assistant Project Officer (Part-time) position to provide administrative support to the research team, such as handling staff and student reimbursement and leave application, procurements of research project supplies, payment, scheduling meetings and venue booking etc.
The appointee will also assist in organizing activities or events of Hong Kong Branch of Chinese National Engineering Research Center for Control & Treatment of Heavy Metal Pollution (CNERC-CTHMP), liaising with internal and external partners and handling any other ad hoc tasks as required.
Applicants should have a Diploma or above in related disciplines with at least 3 years of relevant working experience in providing administrative support to research teams.
The appointee should be a team player with a good command of spoken and written English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua) and proficient in word-processing (English and Chinese), spreadsheet, and PowerPoint.
The appointee should also be attentive to details and able to meet tight deadlines, with a mature and proactive personality.
Relevant work experience in universities will be an advantage.(Duration:
1 year, renewable)
