Senior Project Officer / Project Officer
Department of Computing and Decision Sciences

The appointee will be primarily assigned to an education project and teach primary kids AI and related skills and knowledge. The appointee may also be asked to assist in other industrial/research project(s).

Responsibilities

Taking lead in the overall project management

Contributing in the development of innovative AI education solutions, primarily targeting at gifted primary kids

Coordinating with multiple parties in the project cycle

Managing the implementation of the project and the relevant systems

Promoting the system to potential stake holders

Performing any other duties as assigned

Requirements

Have a recognized Master's degree in any STEAM or relevant discipline, a PhD or Doctoral degree is preferrable

Have experience in applying data science and artificial intelligence in real life educational contexts

Be entrepreneur minded and well versed in management of innovative educational project

Be innovative and can think out of the box

Candidates with less/more experience will also be considered for appointment at a relevant rank.

Salary and Benefits
The commencing salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits, where applicable, include annual leave, medical and dental benefits, and mandatory provident fund. Appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract for up to 12 months.
