- Assist the Executive Sous Chef to monitor the food preparation and production in the assigned kitchen(s)
- Ensure adequate supply of food items during buffet time and monitor the food wastage at a minimum level
- Undertake regular check on quality and portion of all food items for continuous improvement
- Ensure food storage and hygiene standards are followed in line with the Club's guideline
- Assist administrative work such as staff training, preparation of monthly stock take and equipment maintenance etc

The Department
Our Catering Department manages one of the largest and most diverse catering operations in Hong Kong. We provide a wide range of catering, sports and recreation facilities for Members and their guests in three Clubhouses. In addition, both Happy Valley and Sha Tin Racecourses have numerous catering facilities used by Members, non-members and corporate organizations for a variety of functions.
The Job
About You
• minimum of 8 years' relevant experience in prestigious hotels or restaurants with 2 yrs in a similar position
• knowledge in hygiene management system is preferred
• keep abreast of the market trends and contemporary food presentation
• encourage consistency in producing excellent food to exceed guests expectation
• build harmonious work and establish good relations with team members
• communicate effectively in Chinese
Terms of Employment
The level of appointment will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
