Full-time / Part-time Computer Technician II (carrying the job title of 'Social Media Officer')
As a member of the Event and Programme Management Team, the appointee will be responsible for (a) providing support in organising academic events, such as local and international conferences, symposia and webinars; (b) co-ordinating postgraduate and professional diploma programmes; (c) managing websites and multimedia contents for Department and projects; (d) creating visual content for a variety of social media platforms; (e) editing videos; (f) providing support to academic activities and programmes; and (g) performing any other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Duties in the evenings, at weekends or on holidays are required occasionally.Applicants should have/be (i) a Bachelor's degree in a related discipline, preferably in Multimedia, Communications, Computer Science or IT-related disciplines; (ii) a good command of English and Chinese (including Putonghua); and (iii) a good team player and a proactive individual.
Shortlisted candidates will be required to sit for English and Chinese proficiency tests.Applicants must submit copies of academic certificates showing that they have fulfilled the language requirements and/or academic qualifications stated above, otherwise their applications may NOT be considered.
Appointment will initially be made on a 1-year contract, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
