Computer Technician II
The appointee will work in a centre located in Shatin, and will be responsible for (a) serving as an IT expert to support a large community project; (b) acting as the point of contact for outsourced IT companies; (c) monitoring and performing quality check of the outsourced IT products (apps, websites, backend systems, health device APIs, etc.); and (d) providing support to IT infrastructure. Non-office hour and off-site work are required occasionally.
Applicants should have (i) a Bachelor's degree / Diploma / Certificate in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; (ii) at least 2 years' work experience gained from the area(s) of IT support, website management, server management, project management, and/or programming and online communication, preferably at tertiary institutions; (iii) experience in project and team supervision; (iv) knowledge of IT, mobile app development and audio-visual production; (v) a responsible, self-motivated, independent and hardworking attitude, and effective interpersonal skills; and (vi) a reasonable command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Cantonese and Putonghua).
Appointment will initially be made on contract basis for 1 to 2 years, renewable subject to good performance and mutual agreement.
