- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, and translate them into effective database designs and solutions.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions to ensure high-performance data retrieval and manipulation.
- Design and implement ETL processes using SSIS to integrate data from various sources into our SQL Server databases, ensuring accuracy and reliability.
- Create and manage SSRS reports and dashboards that provide actionable insights to stakeholders, utilizing your expertise in SSRS and data visualization best practices.
- Perform database tuning and optimization to enhance system performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Identify and address data-related issues, troubleshoot problems, and collaborate with the team to implement effective solutions.
- Ensure data security and compliance with best practices and regulations by implementing appropriate access controls and encryption mechanisms.
- Keep up-to-date with the latest industry trends, tools, and technologies related to MS SQL Server, SSIS, and SSRS.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in MS SQL Server database development.
- Proficiency in designing and optimizing complex T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions.
- Strong experience with SSIS for designing and implementing ETL processes.
- Solid expertise in creating and managing reports using SSRS, including data visualization concepts.
- In-depth understanding of database performance tuning, indexing, and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with database security best practices and data protection regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
- Strong communication skills to interact with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications (e.g., MCSE: Data Management and Analytics) are a plus.
- Experience with other data-related technologies like Power BI or Azure SQL Database is advantageous.
