- Provide operation and maintenance support on various financial systems (stock/trading system, back office system, etc.)
- Offer application support to business departments to ensure smooth operation for the business
- Communicate with application vendors/HKEX on any production issue, collaborate on solutions proposals and issue fixes
- Monitor system health, report, and troubleshoot irregularities and problems
- Carry out trading system rollout, system upgrades, and UAT
- Ensure all daily batch jobs are successfully executed and completed on time
- Maintain and ensure smooth operation of systems in both front and back office environments
- Perform ad hoc projects as required
- Degree holder in Computer Science or relevant discipline
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a financial institution
- Familiarity with Hong Kong/China securities or futures transactions/business, as well as Bloomberg and other applications
- Experience in supporting MSSQL, MYSQL, Windows, Linux, and Networking, including installation and SQL coding
- Familiarity with the deployment and installation of Web, Java-based platforms
- Ability to work under pressure
- Shift duty required
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese, fluency in Putonghua
- Independent, self-initiative, and good interpersonal skills
