- Target and engage potential clients within educational institutions, research bodies, arboriculture firms, forestry and timber industries.
- Cultivate and manage client relationships, offering technical support when necessary.
- Work with sales and marketing units to devise and implement successful sales strategies, including participation in industry events.
- Deliver product presentations and demonstrations to clients, highlighting technical aspects and benefits.
- Create and present sales proposals, negotiate terms, and close deals to achieve sales targets.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitors' activities, and technological advancements for market competitiveness.
- Provide valuable feedback to enhance our products in line with client needs and market trends.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Forestry, or related field. Advanced degree is a plus.
- Prior experience in technical sales or business development, preferably within the environmental or forestry sector.
- Strong technical acumen to comprehend complex technical concepts and specifications.
- Excellent communication skills to convey technical information to diverse audiences effectively.
- Proven ability to establish and nurture relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Self-driven and proactive attitude to meet and exceed sales objectives.
- Willingness to travel nationally and internationally.
- Fluency in English is required; knowledge of other languages is advantageous.
