    Job description

    The prime objectives of the job are to (a) generate and follow leads to achieve Fosroc product specifications from consultant engineers, architects, surveyors and clients as appropriate and, (b) to follow the flow of the projects and cooperate with the sales team to ensure that specifications are turned into sales.

    (c) provide basic marketing document support to the sales team.

    (d) meet Fosroc Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) targets zero Days Away from Work cases (DAWFC), zero High Potential Incidents (HIPO), zero Major Incidents (MI).ResponsibilitiesFocus on creating specification opportunities at an early stage in the design process in order to secure product specifications which will reduce the effect of competitive bids when contracts go to tender.

    Where a competitor's products are found to be specified, the job holder will seek assist the sales team to make alternative Fosroc proposals, supporting such proposals with any necessary documents.


    Achieve an annually defined the Target Specification Value, which contributes to the overall target of the Specification Team.

    Proactively work with the sales team to ensure that specifications are turned into sales, contributing t0 achieving the annual company Budget.

    Provide specification support to sales department for on-going contracts when so required, and technical support to sales team such as reviewing method statement, case studies or any other technical or marketing material as required.

    Assist the Company in handle of complaints, which include updating the control log book, deciding further actions to complaint, chasing related personnel inside and outside of company, chasing suppliers for solution, ensuring closing actions and signing off by related personnel.


    Assist in developing product marketing strategy and products as required.
    Provide input for new products development or product enhancement.

    Assist in marketing and supporting works assigned to the Technical & Specification Team as required


    eg, product trainingSkills requiredESSENTIAL:
    1Successful Experiences in selling to Specifiers such as Architect, consulting engineers, clients, designers etc.

    2Presentation Skills, experience in conducting Seminars.

    3Ability to produce CAD drawings and Specification documents.

    4Technical knowledge & experience in site applications of construction chemicals.

    5High initiative

    6Goal orientation


    DESIRABLE:
    1Technical knowledge in Civil or Building Engineering.
    2Experience in building construction
    3Extensive knowledge of the complete range of Fosroc products and corresponding competitors products.
    4Clear understanding of decision process within Consultant Engineers, Architects and Client bodies.
