- Monitor the progress and quality of works, and render advice on structural design, on-site problems, project planning and implementation;
- Check and coordinate relevant drawings, supervise contractors and workers to ensure compliance with requirements;
- Coordinate among consultants/contractors, users and in-house units on record maintenance;
- Handle contract administration matters (including project financial issues);
- Oversee tendering exercises for employment of consultants/contractors;
- Ensure that rectification of defects are carried out; and
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
- A Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering/Civil Engineering with a valid safety training course certificate (commonly known as "Green Card");
- At least 15 years' relevant experience (of which at least 5 years at senior management level);
- Extensive experience in building development and large-scale building project execution in Hong Kong;
- Being self-motivated and performance-driven, with proven management and leadership ability to complete tasks within tight schedules, as well as good analytical and interpersonal skills are required.
- Candidates with professional qualification of MHKIE/MICE/MIStructE and Chartered Engineer (HKIE/MIStructE), substantial experience in higher education institutions and/or in managing government subvention projects, and ability to use AutoCAD and Revit are preferred.
