- Review the 5-year strategic plan and annual plan for assigned markets
- Compile the monthly management reports to facilitate monthly performance discussions with country presidents and chief financial officers
- Work closely with other functional teams on various topics, such as development of new metrics, aligning resources for strategic initiatives, meeting new reporting requirements, etc
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on results and forecasts
- Prepare presentation as well as the supporting schedules for both internal and external reviews
- Participate in projects that will improve countries' and departmental efficiency and performance, or to meet global standards as required
- Translate business requirements into enhancements that can be developed and automated in systems
Prepare any ad hoc reporting requests - Work with countries and support any capital infusion requests
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or analytics;
- 8+ years of accounting/financial reporting/FP&A experience but preference for those with stronger FP&A experience;
- CA/CPA or actuarial associate/fellow designations preferred
- Insurance experience, preferably experience working with a Life or A&H carrier
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and an ability to perform complex analyses
- Mastery of end user applications (. Microsoft products such as Excel/PowerPoint/Word)
- Experience with Chubb Financial Systems and Processes a plus, in particular TM1 System and PeopleSoft
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multi-task and prioritized deadlines
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work independently
- Ability to identify changing priorities and manage time efficiently
- Enthusiastic self-starter
- Demonstrated integrity and dedication
- A passion for data and helping others to use it. Genuine excitement for analyzing large and complex data sets and converting them into information which drive business decisions
