- Define & clearly articulate marketing plans to secure resources and commitment across key stakeholders
- Build out plans at a client segment level to ensure continuity of visibility and messaging
- Lead bottom up marketing planning defining objectives, key campaigns and resource requirements
- Champion the voice of the client and the Brand proposition within the Channel
- Build effective relationships with the wider APAC and Global Marketing teams to secure required resource and expertise
- Design multi-channel marketing campaigns utilising the full and most appropriate marketing mix
- Recommend budget requirements based on analysis of previous performance to optimise resources
- Engage Sales and Client teams to fully integrate marketing activity into Distribution efforts
- Adopt global standards and processes and embed best practice within campaigns and activities
- Establish robust campaign management, delivering a set of coherent activities to meet specific objectives
- Continue to strengthen campaign audience targeting to drive relevance, resonance and personalisation
- Implement effective contact strategy and controls to prevent over / under communication at a client level
- Develop clearly articulated Campaign & Activity briefs to engage APAC and Global Marketing teams & initiate activity
- Ensure suite of investment content available to meet client segment and channel needs
- Ensure all activity aligns and supports the advancement of the corporate motherbrand
- Project manage delivery of campaign assets (including Advertising) to required timescales
- Actively monitor campaign performance and optimise activity throughout campaigns
- Adopt an agile approach to amend campaigns to reflect changes in performance or external environment
- Monitor progress against plan and budgets, flexing priorities and resources accordingly
- Review core KPIs and report on Marketing impact
- Provide MI and narrative as required to support Marketing Governance processes
- Adopt core operational processes & risk controls ensuring all relevant training is completed
- Identify process and operational challenges to enable the wider platform to be developed
- Identify learning and development opportunities and seek to adopt Marketing best practice
- Working with regional and head office media relations teams to maximise and drive media opportunities in the region
- Articulate, energetic and excellent communication skills with a solid experience delivering Marketing campaigns, events and activities in the financial services industry
- Results-oriented and able to multi-task effectively in an extremely fast-paced environment, and work well within a team as well as independently
- Leadership qualities and high flyer to lead the Greater China Marketing function
- High attention to detail and an excellent problem solver
- Be flexible and willing to learn as the job will stretch the individual to strategise at a high level, as well as be hands-on on a day-to-day basis
- Collaborative nature as the Senior Marketing Manager will work with colleagues across the global, regional and country teams
- A Marketing professional with at least 10 years of work experience in the financial services industry
- Proven track record of designing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Able to work with and influence multiple stakeholders and work towards a common goal
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and any other local language(s)
- Competent in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook; competency in Design Tools is a plus
- Related job experience in marketing automation software a plus (eg Eloqua or Marketo)
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a positive can-do attitude

Greater China Marketing is committed to maximising corporate reputation, client reach and engagement, generating prospects, supporting acquisition, deepening engagement and maximising revenues. Greater China Marketing's responsibility extends to helping develop the business spanning Wholesale and Institutional channels. Reporting to the Marketing Director – Asia Pacific, this senior role will lead and execute Marketing activities in the Greater China region.
Development of Greater China Marketing Plan and implementation
Develop commercially focused multi-channel marketing campaigns
Deliver Marketing Campaigns and Initiatives to time, scope and budget
Actively review plans & business impact and embed a continuous improvement within the marketing process
Collaborate with PR colleagues to drive media opportunities
