- Handle copywriting, translation, and editing of materials for various projects; formulate effective communications strategies and maintain a vibrant social media presence for these projects.
- Plan and organize events, from small exclusive receptions to large-scale conferences (in-person and virtual), competitions, concerts and exhibitions.
- Keep abreast of world affairs, conduct research, and analyze data on global issues, geo-political trends, economics, and culture.
- Foster and maintain longstanding relationships with local and international corporations, universities, think tanks, and not-for-profit organizations. This is a hands-on role from conceptualization to implementation, requiring you to work closely with the Executive Director, as well as internal and external parties.
- A bachelor's degree or above in any discipline from a leading university.
- A solid track record of at least ten years in communications, research, events management or related fields; Mainland or overseas work experience would be an advantage.
- Adept in content creation for print or social media, editing and communications with native fluency in English and Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese).
- Conversant in geopolitics and current affairs and intellectually curious in a broad range of topics.
- Possess a growth mindset; can be both a good team player as well as a self-starter who is resourceful and detail-oriented.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and always strive for excellence
- Above all, unquestionable personal and professional integrity.
