- Assist with copywriting and editing of the Group's English corporate communications materials, including but not limited to interim / annual reports, positioning papers, press releases, management speeches, key messages, lines-to-take, emergency and accident (E&A) materials, etc.
- Review the communications materials from the Group's outports and business units to ensure they are fully aligned with the corporate messages.
- Represent the Corporate Communications team at project meetings as appropriate and help drive the project's progress and implementation.
- Work with colleagues in the Corporate Communications team to develop responses to media enquiries and build relationships with members of the media and outport teams. Requirements
- University degree or above.
- Professional qualifications (if applicable).
- 5 years+ working experience preferably in media, PR or marketing communications.
- Knowledge of airlines, aviation and travel industries preferred.
- Excellent English storytelling and writing skills. Strong proficiency in Traditional and Simplified Chinese a plus.
- Excellent inter-personal communication skills.

Role IntroductionReports To: Corporate Communications Manager
This role within Corporate Affairs (CAF) will assist with developing and overseeing the storytelling of both positive and negative communication messages, with the objective of protecting and promoting our brand and our subsidiaries in our home market and globally.
The job holder is required to work closely with their direct report and the rest of the Corporate Communications team, as well as the corporate leadership, business units (BUs) in Hong Kong and the outport teams to strategise and coordinate the development of key messages and communication materials, and ensure alignment of external communications across the business.
He / She must be able to deal with the senior management directly and independently. They are required to have strong knowledge of the Group, insightful understanding of the media / public affairs landscape, and excellent English-language capabilities.
This role is particularly important in ensuring that different communication messages across different BUs and outports are in alignment and echo the airline's strategic directions.
