- To lay out a procurement plan for assigned area of responsibility in alignment with larger initiatives.
- To evaluate current carrier share for key trade lanes, recommending optimization measures to maximize core carrier share.
- To evaluate opportunities to consolidate current volumes to achieve better yields and help optimize ANR, laying the foundation for future business development opportunities.
- To work with the procurement team in the promotion of consol / build up pallet deals, helping to create efficiencies in our long term procurement efforts.
- To evaluate carrier metrics + ensure volume allocations are in line with targets to support PCP program success.
- To monitor + push for maximization of volumes via our Gateways, to achieve better consol benefits as well as supporting cost management.
- It is required over-night shift work for this role.
- 2-3 years related working experience and preferred candidate who has planning experience in freight forwarding.
- Your strong negotiation skills + knowledge of the market, along with your customer + stakeholder relationships will be the key to your success.
