- To perform 7 x 24 round the clock front line duties and to attend customer service reports, perform
fault isolation and diagnostic function. - Investigate network bearers and customer circuit alarms generated from the Network Management and Surveillance Alarm Monitoring Systems DWDM and SDH transmission network and submarine cable system network.
- Support first-line maintenance and fault diagnostic on transmission/submarine network equipment fault and coordinate with transmission engineering team to arrange faulty equipment replacement.
- Carry out circuit acceptance test for network trunk and bearer and update associated inventory databases on installation, changes and recovery.
- High Diploma/ Degree holder or above in Electronic/Information Technology Engineering with 8 years related experience OR
- Higher Certificate in Electronic/Electrical Engineering or City & Guild Full Technological Certificate with 7 years relevant experience in datacom OR
- 5 subjects pass in HKCEE including English or 5 subjects pass in HKDSE including English with 6 years working experience.
- Good knowledge in the operations of various datacom equipment as well as telecom services.
- Customer oriented, good initiative, self-motivated and able to work under pressure.
- Fluent Putonghua is an advantage.
