- Enhancing, supporting, and maintaining the firm's Commodities front, middle, and back-office systems
- Working as part of the global Application Support team located in various cities worldwide
- Engaging proactively with PMs, Traders, and Analysts to resolve issues and identify areas for improvement
- Documenting common support issues, trade flows, and procedures on Confluence
- Implementing and instructing end-users on new product launches
- Providing support to other regions, including monitoring tasks in Asia, EU, and US during overnight hours
- Collaborating with external vendors' technical support teams to address issues and implement strategic enhancements
- Offering escalation support for other regions, including evenings and weekends, on a rotational basis
- Be an ambitious self-starter with a thirst for knowledge
- Be willing to share knowledge in a highly collaborative setting
- Be self-motivated with a drive for success
- Demonstrate strong and effective communication skills
- Be capable of multitasking and excelling in a fast-paced trading environment
- 5+ years of experience in institutions like investment banks, asset managers, or related software vendors
- An in-depth understanding of the trade life cycle for Commodities products, e.g., Gas, Power, Oil, Metals, Ags, or Freight
- Experience supporting physical commodities trading
- Experience supporting Production and Development environments using ITIL and agile methodologies respectively
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities, including interpreting, understanding, and debugging internally developed systems
- Experience with Commodities trading platforms like Trayport Joule, WebICE, and EEX
- Experience with CTRM/ETRM platforms such as ION Endur/CXL and Openlink
- Knowledge of Market Data services like Trayport/B-PIPE/MorningStar
- Knowledge of Messaging platforms such as RabbitMQ/Solace/Kafka
- SQL experience across different databases, including MSSQL
- Exposure to Linux, C++, C#, and Python-based applications
- Execution with high precision and acute attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

You will have extensive interaction with investment professionals like Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Analysts to proactively identify and address issues, as well as suggest potential workflow and system enhancements.
