- Prepare, review and submit regulatory HKMA returns/surveys/GDR/financial disclosures according to completion instructions.
- Design and improve spreadsheets with good documentation to streamline return preparation process from data sources.
- Actively update and maintain the correctness of regulatory reporting attributes.
- Improve data quality and existing controls to ensure returns and surveys to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
- Document preparation procedure manuals for various banking returns and GDR for the sake of clarify and transparency.
- Liaise with different stakeholders within and outside the bank and answer their queries on time.
- Familiar with HKMA return completion instructions
- Prefer candidate with a university graduate major in accounting or finance
- HKICPA or equivalent preferred with 3 years of relevant banking experiences in a sizeable bank
- Good spoken and written Chinese and English for communications and documentation
- VBA macro skills preferred
- Project experience in system implementation desired
- Familiar with MS-Office applications
- Basic understanding of Japanese GAAP, IFRS, tax regulations and rules is an advantage
