    About The Team and Role

    We're seeking someone to join our team as an Employee Relations Advisor.

    In this role, you will partner with Human Resources Business Partners, Employment Legal and others to investigate allegations of inappropriate behaviour, advise on complex HR matters, and help to formulate, revise and communicate HR policies on a range of topics.

    In the Human Resources department, we provide advice and insight to attract, retain, reward and develop a talented global workforce, giving employees the support and tools, they need to succeed.

    This is a Vice President level position within the Asia HR Management team.

    What you'll do in the role:


    • Responsible for conducting the most complex and high-visibility investigations of HR-related matters in Asia.
    • Partner with Employment Legal, Litigation Legal and others on the investigation of hybrid HR and Business-conduct matters.
    • Partner with the HR Risk and HR Regulatory Relations teams on various initiatives and projects.
    • Provide advice and guidance to HR Business Partners with the management of complex HR matters, including in relation to extended absences, performance management, discrimination, harassment and bullying complaints, workplace and interpersonal conflicts.
    • Prepare and deliver training sessions for HR Business Partners, senior management and others on a range of ER-related topics.
    • Overall responsibility for the development, review and update of HR policies in Asia, to ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements, and implement best practice across the Firm.
    • Compile and review data from ER cases, to determine trends and develop proactive strategies to remediate risk within the Firm.

    What you'll bring to the role:


    • 10+ years in conducting investigations as an Employment Lawyer or in financial services (preferred)

    Ability to:
    o Partner with senior HR Business Partners, Employment Legal and others on the briefing of senior Firm and Business Unit management
    o Work independently and exercise good judgment in the handling of complex and sensitive matters
    o Plan and carry out complex reviews and investigations
    o Analyze findings, determine credibility, and come to a view about allegations from multiple evidentiary sources
    o Maintain objectivity and composure during challenging situations
    o Influence senior management to ensure appropriate outcomes in ER matters
    o Quickly build relationships and credibility with a variety of stakeholders
    o Communicate clearly and concisely, verbally and in writing
    o Balance multiple projects and stakeholders simultaneously
