Vice President / Senior Vice President, Working Capital Solutions– Confirming, Global Transaction Banking, Asia PacificCountry: Hong Kong . Within the Working Capital Solutions Asia team, originate the payables solutions to our clients to meet their KPIs in managing the Days Payable Outstanding (DPO) in the balance sheet.
. Collaborate with Corporate Sales team in Global Transaction Banking, to deep dive in client's working capital cycle and to build the payables pipelines.
. Provide coaching to junior team members and guide them to follow-up new pipelines and improve the utilisation of existing portfolio.
. Participate, alongside the global product teams, on the commercial activities, product development and solutions structuring. Enhance the risk and control procedure and tailor made solutions and process for the deals.
. Cross sell other Global Transactional Banking products to clients.
Key Responsibilities
. Achieve quantitative and qualitative performance objectives set for overall GTB and Working Capital Solutions Confirming team.
. Lead the confirming deal origination process from end to end including preparing RFP & marketing presentation, conducting due diligence, leading the in-depth documentation negotiation and managing the credit approval process.
. Manage the internal stakeholders including Legal, Middle Office, Operation, Compliance to ensure seamless implementation of confirming deals.
. Provide feedbacks and coaching to the WCS team members on the team's performance and development
. Negotiate different risk mitigations tools including the risk participation agreement and insurance policy.
. Stay tuned to the market product development to ensure that our product offering and the necessary infrastructure support is competitive. Provide market update and experience
sharing with other GTB team members.
Requirements
. Bachelor's degree holder or above.
. Over years' banking experience with at least years in supply chain deals structuring and development.
. Good knowledge in global trade flow. Able to understand different countries' legal and regulatory requirement for providing payable solutions to the client in Asia Pacific.
. Able to interpret and analyse the financial statement, to identify the DPO and Cash Conversion Cycle (CCC) of the clients and benchmark with the market competitors.
. Solid experience in understanding on legal documents on a confirming deal.
. Self-motivating, self-disciplinary and positive can-do attitude. Collaborative and entrepreneurial mind-set with strong team spirits.
. Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin Chinese. Proactive, strong in analytical and problem-solving skills.
. Available to frequent business travel.
