Job Posting DetailsThe HKUST Business School is seeking an Assistant Manager who will play a key role in developing and overseeing the operations of the new MSc Learning Hub.
The MSc Learning Hub is strategically located in Kwun Tong, the emerging central business district, and offers MSc students a unique learning experience as a bridge to the commercial world.
Fully equipped with classrooms, meeting rooms, and open workspaces, the MSc Learning Hub is designed to cater to the needs of different stakeholders.
The successful applicant will be a highly motivated individual overseeing the campus's daily operations, ensuring prompt and professional services are provided.
The appointee will lead a team to manage classroom assignments, provide onsite support, and set up different functional areas to meet users' needs on the class or event requirement.
Additionally, the appointee will collaborate with internal stakeholders to plan and optimize the campus resources effectively and efficiently, understand the needs of stakeholders in providing professional services and delivering high-quality customer services to enrich the user experience, develop standard operational procedures, and prepare analytical reports for regular review.
This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who is passionate about education and is looking to make a significant impact in expanding and enriching students' learning experiences.
Applicants should have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua) and a customer service-oriented mindset.
They should be a good team player with business acumen, strong communication and interpersonal skills. They should also be well organized, responsible and able to work under pressure, tight timeline without close supervision. The appointee will be required to work outside normal office hours.(Duration:
2 years, renewable)
Starting salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. Fringe benefits including annual leave, medical and dental benefits will be provided where applicable. A gratuity will be payable upon successful completion of contract.
