- Prepare / review annual corporate and individual tax compliance work in a proper and timely manner for the Bank and its subsidiaries
- Provide assistance to overseas and PRC BEA entities in handling their tax compliance work
- Handle tax advisory work
- Evaluate and/or implement tax planning projects of the Bank
- Prepare replies for enquiries issued by tax authorities
- Supervise subordinates in carrying out their duties
- Report abnormal issues identified to Department Head and Management in a timely manner
- Act as the tax representative of the Bank for attending external meetings (e.g. Hong Kong Association of Banks) Requirements
- Degree Holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- Preferable 5-8 years of experiences in banking sector or Big 4, with HK/PRC tax experience
- Good analytical, organisational, research and problem solving skills;
- Independence, responsible, proactive and detail-oriented;
- Able to work under tight schedule and pressure;
- A team player with good communication skills and risk awareness;
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese, Putonghua proficiency is an advantage.
