- Oversee the overall tax compliance profile of the Group including tax return filings, tax payments and tax disputes etc
- Current and deferred tax provision calculations
- Provide international tax advice to internal business partners on operational matters (e.g. new business models, sales and procurement contracts etc.)
- Support in implementation of global tax policies and strategies, and inter-company transfer pricing arrangements
- Provide tax related support for M&A activities, including tax structuring and tax due diligence etc.
- Work closely with external tax advisers and overseas colleagues on international tax matters
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance or related disciplines
- Qualified Accountant under ACCA/HKICPA or equivalent
- Proficient in writing in Chinese and English
- At least 8 years of regional tax experience from professional firms and telecom or relevant industry; candidates with less experience will be considered as Assistant Manager
- Good tax accounting knowledge, experience with regional corporate tax, indirect tax and other international matters (e.g. double tax treaties and transfer pricing)
- Experience in staff management
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, strong tax technical and research skills
- Fast learner, willing to accept responsibility and work under tight timeline
- Strong interpersonal skills and able to drive cross-department projects
