    Our client, a reputable listed media company based in Hong Kong is seeking a skilled mid-level Accountant to join their fast-growing team. In this role, you will play a vital role in managing and maintaining their financial records and also lead a team of few colleagues. You will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced and creative environment, contributing to the success of the company's financial operations.

    Responsibilities

    • Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling to support strategic decision-making.
    • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and manage tax filings.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support on various projects.
    • Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and addressing audit inquiries.

    Requirements

    • Qualified accountant with bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
    • Around 5-6 years of experience working as an accountant or similar role
    • Strong knowledge of taxes and listing rules is essential
    • Familiar with MS Word, Excel and proficiency in Chinese Word Processing is a must
    • Knowledge on SAP system is an advantage
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
    • Excellent communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin is mandatory
