- As a Microsoft Data Center Technician (DCT), you will be responsible for staging, setting up, and deploying hardware, conducting troubleshooting and diagnostics, and handling hardware decommissions.
- This role offers an opportunity to enhance your knowledge of Data Center processes, develop mentoring skills, familiarize yourself with security protocols, and advance your career.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent with basic knowledge of computer hardware and 1+ years of experience in IT equipment support.
- Ability to meet Microsoft security screening requirements, including specialized screenings like the Microsoft Cloud Background Check.
- 2+ years supporting IT equipment, CompTIA certifications, and Basic Structure Cabling (BSC) knowledge.
- Conduct diagnostics and troubleshooting, replace faulty components, and ensure proper setup according to safety protocols.
- Manage hardware decommissions and provide support to other technicians for complex tasks.
- Communicate and escalate incidents to the appropriate channels, participate in training, and contribute to team effectiveness.
- Take ownership of service quality and user experience, embodying company culture and values.
