- Customer Centricity Transformation (CCT): Facilitate the smooth planning and implementation of CCT, which is a major Club-wide multi-year transformation program designed to drive the Club's long-term business success
- Corporate Strategy Development : the incumbent will lead a team to support the development of holistic corporate strategy of HKJC across all divisions.
- Macro and Market Insights : Leveraging primary and secondary researches, proactively monitor key macro / market trends and competitive intelligence, so as to identify key potential opportunities and threats for the Club's integrated business model.
- Annual Integrated Business Planning Process (IBP) Support: Based on corporate strategy and IBP framework, develop the corporate strategic themes and priorities at a corporate level to guide divisions' strategy and planning process.
- Cross-divisional strategic initiatives : For key cross-divisional strategic development or transformation initiatives, provide project management oversight and analytical support on an as need basis.
- Strategic Programs (SP) Management Support: Provide the annual core strategic themes and timely strategic inputs for the committee secretaries to have a broad strategic perspective in the monthly committee agenda management.
- Master Degree in Business Related Discipline
- Bachelor Degree in business, engineering or any disciplines
- 12-15 years working experiences, with recent managerial experience in corporate strategy at group management level for leading companies in their respective sectors, with exposure in Hong Kong, China and global markets
- Prior solid track record in strategic consulting experiences with top-tier strategy consulting firms (such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, Roland Berger, Oliver Wyman etc.), with career progression up to Project Leader/Manager level
- Track record in playing strategic and change management role as internal expert to guide organizational change
- Experience in building and leading a high calibre corporate strategy and market insights team
- Ability to work and collaborate with numerous stakeholders up to C-level executives
- Strong thought leadership and customer centricity mindset, deep expertise in consumer, digital, economic and policy landscape in Hong Kong and Mainland China, as well as capable of connecting dots and developing meaningful insights from trends across sectors / different reigns in the market to guide strategy development
- Attention to details for accuracy, while maintaining "Big Picture" strategic mindset
- Excellent paper writing and story-telling skills to report concisely and accurately to Club management and stewards
- Fluent in reading, writing and speaking English, Cantonese and Mandarin

The Department
Corporate Strategy and Business Planning Office (CSBPO) has three key pillar of focus, including 1). Mainland Strategic and Business Development, 2) Corporate Strategy, Business Planning and Integrated Business Model Management, and 3). Cross-Divisional Strategic Initiatives.
Within Strategic Management and Market Insights ("SMMI") Department plays a key role in achieving the mission to develop holistic HKJC corporate strategy to enable long-term sustainable development of the Club, with proactive management of potential internal challenges and external threats. SMMI team focus on developing and managing holistic corporate strategy for HKJC with proactive competitive and market insights. In addition, SMMI team will support Director of Corporate Strategy and Business Planning (DCSBP) in driving the annual KPI management for all CEO direct reports (across divisions) of the Club, with close linkage with key strategic and business goals of the Club as set out in the corporate strategy.
