- Assist to establish and review the outsourcing management mechanism of the Bank by referencing to best practice of risk governance and regulatory requirements;
- Be responsible for execution of outsourcing risk framework by reviewing the adequacy of the implemented controls;
- Examine the due diligence materials for the readiness of launching.
- Assist to prepare regular reports to be submitted to the Risk Committee summarizing the outsourcing management status;
- Answer enquiries of business/ support units about outsourcing requirements in accordance with the outsourcing management principles;
- Provide consultancy and advice to business/ support units in relation to outsourcing risk management, in particular new business and product initiatives;
- Prepare the bank-wide awareness or education program to promote the cultures outsourcing risk management in the Bank.
- Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, Risk Management or related disciplines;
- Professional qualification e.g. CORP is preferred;
- Minimum 8 years' banking experience and within which at least 3 years operational risk management or experience in outsourcing management.
- Knowledge in leading programmes to enhance operational risk; management frameworks in particular to outsourcing in large organisations;
- Understanding of regulatory requirements and trends relating to outsourcing risk management;
- Knowledge in regulatory requirements (HKMA/SFC/IA) of outsourcing;
- Experience in developing and reviewing robust controls frameworks to support the outsourcing risk management strategy;
- Analytical, problem solving with good interpersonal and communications skills;
- Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua).
