- Relies on limited experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Works under general supervision.
- May assist with training entry-level employees.
- Responsible for monitoring conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and/or code requirements by performing inspection duties.
- Performs daily field inspections and maintains inspection records.
- Participates in punch lists, testing, and commissioning.
- Tracks quality assurance progress.
- Provides input to documentation for area and equipment turnovers.
- Higher Diploma or Higher Certificate in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering
- Met the language proficiency requirements of Level 2 or above in Chinese Language and English Language in the Hong Kong Diploma of Secondary Education Examination (DSEE) or Hong Kong Certificate of Education Examination (HKCEE), or equivalent
- 5 years' relevant experience, three of which should be gained post-qualification. The qualification and experience shall comply with the requirement of TCP grade T3 as shown on Table 2 of Technical Memorandum for Supervision Plans
- Attended required Occupation Safety and Health Management Course; Basic Accident Prevention Course (to be clarified); Construction Industry Safety Card Course (Green Card); and Certified Worker Training Course for Confined Spaces
- Candidates with more experience will be considered as Inspector of Work
