- Act as a form tutor for a designated group of students, providing pastoral support and guidance in their academic, personal, and social development.
- Establish positive relationships with students and their parents/guardians, maintaining open lines of communication to address any concerns or issues.
- Monitor and track the progress, attendance, and behavior of form students, intervening when necessary to support their well-being and academic success.
- Organize and lead form activities and parent-teacher meetings, promoting a sense of community and engaging parents/guardians in their child's education.Professional Development:
- Engage in continuous professional development activities, including attending relevant workshops, conferences, and training sessions.
- Stay informed about educational policies, trends, and research related to Business education and pastoral care, integrating new knowledge and approaches into teaching practice.
- Actively participate in departmental meetings, sharing insights, experiences, and ideas to contribute to the overall improvement of the school.Qualifications and Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in Business Studies or a related field.
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE) or equivalent teaching certification preferred.
- Specialization or experience in teaching GCSE and A-Level Business.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the respective examination board requirements (Cambridge).
- Proven experience in delivering effective and engaging lessons to students of varying abilities.
