- At Sun Life we are focused on building a world-class distribution function that propels our Purpose to help Clients achieve lifetime financial security and live healthier lives. Client driven with an innovation mindset, this role partners closely with our both Regional and BU teams to take the leadership role on distribution compensation, across SL BUs. In addition to aligning compensation to optimise distribution, lead development of compensation for future distribution models. The role reports to Head, Distribution Excellence Asia and is based in the Asia Regional Office in Hong Kong.
- Subject matter expert to formulate and update training programs across BUs to build advisors competency to meet client needs rather than product specialist focused.
- Good written and verbal English communication skills.
- Solid financial and numeric skills
- Strong problem solving skill, coordination and able to work under minimum supervision.
- Pro-active, discipline, strong follow up, attentive to detail, ability to multi-task.
- Understanding on distribution management and agency sales key metrics to deliver sales and maximize VNB for BUs
- Education
- University graduate in business or related curriculum
- Experience
- At least 8 years of relevant experience in insurance compensation management and able to develop standalone compensation models for all distribution channels
- Understand distribution and insurance products
- Deliver digital assets which improves customer and advisor experience while enabling data analytics to learn and develop predictive models leading to higher productivity and sales.
- Deliver agreed strategic imperatives working with BU and RO IT teams for:
- End to end leads management and sales management platform
- Work with data team to develop real time management dashboard
- Lead implementation of digital roadmap.
- Lead tech build of next generation advisory model
