- Manage, oversee and train credit analysts
- Build and maintain a credit research framework for credits and funds
- Establish and maintain an investment universe of approved credits and funds
- Conduct in-depth fundamental credit analysis on global fixed income securities, with a focus on bonds in Asia and the US. Experience in both investment grade and high yield will both be considered.
- Active analysis of new investment opportunities in credits and credit fund space
- Support portfolio managers' investment decisions through bottom-up fundamental research and relative value analysis
- Prepare detailed reports and investment recommendations for portfolio managers and other stakeholders. The candidate will support the portfolio managers in preparing presentation materials for regular and ad-hoc client meetings
- Support risk management with regular and ad-hoc reporting, in accordance to risk policies and different client mandates
- Participate in client prospecting and due diligence meetings where relevant. Engage with clients with regards to information needs, reporting requirements and direct access requests.
- Liaise with key stakeholders on credit issues including leading credit discussions in the investment committee and facilitate credit risk related issues with risk management teams
- The candidate should have a keen interest in US rates and sensitivity to key factors that drive investment decisions
- Experience in climate or ESG research is a bonus
- Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
- At least 10 years of experience in fixed income credit analysis
- Solid understanding of capital markets, public debt instruments, bond documentation
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
- CFA or other relevant professional qualifications preferred.
- Fluent in Mandarin and English.
