- The role is responsible for performing financial planning and analysis on the Hong Kong Pension (MPF/ORSO) financial drivers, driving strategic initiatives, and providing business insights to help our pension leaders to achieve our strategic objectives.
- Perform analysis to understand the drivers of our financials (i.e. Sales & Gross VNBs, Earnings and Expense, etc.) and derive sharp business insights on the W&P performance.
- Deep dive on the monthly & quarterly business results through understanding the connections between actual results and plan projections and analyzing industry market players. Help leaders to understand the forward trends impacting the W&P business.
- Perform analysis for Operating Plan and Strategic Plan processes to provide business advice to influence the Company's strategy.
- Collaborate across different business functions (including Distribution Channels, Actuarial, Marketing, pension Operations, HR and IT, etc), build & drive strategic initiatives and leverage such insights to drive our W&P business forward.
- Strong analytical skill sets
- Good communication and negotiation skills
- Strong problem-solving skills as required to help on complex and technical issues or initiatives
- Degree in Accounting & Finance or any related disciplines
- qualified CPA equivalent is a competitive advantage
- At least 4-5 years of working experience within insurance or financial industry (e.g. bank/fund house/consultancy firm),
- Experience in Tableau is an added advantage
