- Key member in coordinating and reviewing the 5-year strategic plan and annual plan with all Asia markets management.
- Develop and compile the monthly management reports and lead monthly performance discussions with country presidents and chief financial officers.
- Be a technical lead for multiple BI projects including requirement gathering, planning, development, implementation, stakeholder management and on-going support.
- Design, build and launch accessible, reliable data visualization dashboards in Qlikview and Qlik Sense that provide actionable insights across cross-functional teams.
- Lead the regional implementation of global standards and/or systems as required.
- Prepare presentation as well as the supporting schedules for both internal and external reviews.
- Work with countries and support the capital infusion requests.
- Dual role managing a small team of finance professionals coaching, mentoring as well as allocating workloads.
- Take leadership role on the projects that will improve country's and departmental efficiency and performance.
- Prepare any ad hoc reporting requests.
- Provide detailed analysis and commentary on results and forecast.
- Map critical processes and seek opportunities for process improvement and enhanced reporting capabilities.
- Provide strategic oversight and leadership, support other key projects and initiatives as required, and be an active member of the Asia Office Finance leadership.
- Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or analytics.
- 6+ years of accounting or financial reporting or FP&A experience.
- CA/CPA or actuarial associate/fellow designations preferred.
- Insurance experience, preferably experience working with a Life or A&H carrier.
- Strong analytical skills with an attention to detail and an ability to perform complex analyses.
- Mastery of end user applications (. Microsoft products such as Excel/PowerPoint/Word).
- Intermediate/Advanced VBA and SQL a plus; strong database development and query knowledge including proficiency in SQL coding across standard relational environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritized deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and proven ability to work independently.
- Ability to identify changing priorities and manage time efficiently.
