- Evaluate the changes of working practices and procedures, as well as the products to be adopted by Outside Plant staff (major on civil and blockwiring works)
- Establish and / or review specifications, drawings, engineering instructions and standard forms relating to civil and blockwiring works items
- Arrange acceptance tests on and evaluate new products to ensure they comply with the specifications
- Collaborate with other working parties or Government Departments for the standardisation of working procedures and telecommunication facilities
- Ensure outside plant items are of reasonable price and reasonable quality by compilation of technical specification and by technical evaluation of the offered products from tenderers
- Administer civil works and blockwiring works term contracts and specification
- Resolve technical problems in relation to outside plant network
- Take up the role of Deputy Quality Management Representatives for Civil Works Procedures
- Higher Diploma/ Degree Holder in Engineering disciplines or equivalent qualification with min. 3 years' relevant work experience
- Experience in project management
