描述
Major Duties:
(a) To install, commission, operate and maintain PCs, servers and network equipment; (b) To set up and prepare for practical training sessions and assist in demonstration, practical classes and projects; (c) To provide IT-related technical support for staff and students; (d) To assist in the procurement and inventory control of relevant stores, software licenses and consumables; and (e) To assist in photo and video taking / editing, graphic design or other IT-related technical duties.
Requirements :
(a)
A recognised diploma or higher certificate in relevant discipline, or equivalent; (b) At least 2 years' relevant work experience; (c) Good knowledge of operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of computer hardware and networking; (d) Good interpersonal and communication skills; (e) Ability to work independently and be a good team player; and (f) Candidates with knowledge / skills in the following areas would be an added advantage:
(i) Experience in using Windows PC and Mac; (ii) Proficiency in various Microsoft and Adobe software; (iii) Knowledge in computer graphic design and video editing; and (iv) Knowledge in audio visual system operation
Note s :
(1) Applicants with substantial experience and achievements in the relevant field but without the required academic / professional qualifications OR those with exceptional academic / professional qualifications but with less experience may also apply. (2) The appointee(s) may be required to perform duties at different sites and/or outside normal office hours.
