- Work with the team's senior trader in Hong Kong assisting in all aspects of a trade lifecycle from pre-trade checks to execution to trade-booking.
- Be responsible for position maintenance (e.g. swap unwinds, future rolls, bilateral novations) and be the point person working with the back office in reconciliation.
- Maintain strong relationships with a broad set of liquidity providers.
- Participate in research projects, including transaction cost analysis and broker/algorithm evaluation.
- Participate in the development of the group's trading systems.
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience preferred.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in assessing and determining how to handle high volumes of trade queries and issues.
- Keen intuition for markets and a passion for studying them.
- Team player, driven, and collaborative.
- Understanding of order lifecycle from order generation to booking and TCA.
- Familiar with Rates OTC markets and/or listed futures markets preferred.
- Experience with OMS/EMS platforms such as TradeWeb, BidFX and TT preferred.
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.

About the Team:
The Discretionary Global Macro trading desk is currently an seven member team split between New York, London, and Hong Kong. The primary focus of the team is best execution cross asset and timely and accurate trade capture in support of all 50 macro pods Point72 has globally, who cover Interest Rates, FX, Commodities, Credit and Equities. The team works closely with our PMs and Analysts in each pod sourcing liquidity, providing relevant market commentary, and is a liaison with various internal partners including business, operations, margin, compliance and legal.
