Our client is a well-established family office with a strong history of successful commercial value-add investments. Due to organizational growth, they are seeking an exceptional individual to join their team as part of their expansion.
As the role reports to the CIO, you will primarily focus on conducting macro-related research, closely monitoring global market narratives and events. You will be leading the analysis and identification of investment opportunities with favorable risk-reward profiles using various instruments such as derivatives, futures, and FX. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining quantitative tools and systems, as well as assisting in managing other corporate systems when necessary.
Applicants should possess a Degree qualification and a minimum of 4 years of professional experience, with at least 2 years in an analytical capacity within hedge funds, mutual funds, private equity funds, banks, or similar institutions. A solid grasp of how macro event expectations impact different asset classes is essential. Proficiency in modeling and programming (Excel VBA, Python, SQL) and familiarity with databases are required. Strong communication skills and the ability to simplify complex concepts are key. Knowledge of Bloomberg and other OMS/EMS/PMS and risk management systems is advantageous. Experience in multi-factor model development/implementation is a bonus.
