Responsibilities

  • Fundamental equity research to produce dividends estimates (amounts and dates) as well as the potential impacts of corporates events for a universe of Asia ex-Japan listed stocks and Indices.
  • Maintain an accurate-data base of dividends forecast used in equity derivatives pricing (estimated amounts, dividends dates, and associated risks)
  • Communicate with the various equity derivatives trading desks on forecasts and their potential impact on the pricing of Equity Delta One products.
  • Forecast major indices reshuffles (MSCI, Hang Seng, FTSE etc) and follow-up all indices related changes, as well as the behavior of stocks impacted by these changes.
  • Liaise with support functions (Middle Office, IT) to ensure all data used in pricing tools are accurate.
  • Prepare regular presentation documents to support Sales and Trading.
  • Responsible to manage the custom basket calculation and publication for clients' business
  • Contributions

  • Equity Fundamental Analysis & Dividend Estimates - Direct contribution to EQD pricing​
  • Risk Monitoring - Contribute to identify risk and opportunities in Dividends pricing, Corporate Events and Index Rebalancing for various EQD trading desks
  • Communication & Team work - maintain close communication with trading desk
  • Operating environment improvement - Contribute to the continuous improvement of process and systems
  • Control Aspect - Comply with regulatory requirements and internal guidelines and contribute to the identification of potential operational risks and incidents with appropriate reporting in the banks' Incident Management System.

  • Technical and Behavioural Competencies / Specific Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or above
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience
