- Perform general accounting duties including accounts receivable, accounts payable and general ledger functions, accounting entries and bank reconciliation for Hong Kong office
- Handle the period end and year end closing
- Ensure compliance with Financial Reporting Standards and local regulatory requirements
- Be responsible for banking relationships, cash-flow management and forecasting
- Prepare annual budgets and work with all departments to ensure operational performance meets and exceeds targets
- Provide timely and quality financial accounts and analysis to management, and other third parties as required
- Be responsible for compliance with legal, tax, and other regulatory requirements
- Liaise with external auditors and bankers
- Manage payroll and compliance with MPF requirements if required
- Any other reasonable and related duties as assigned
- Team oriented person able to work independently
- Minimum 2 years' experience as an Accountant and ideally having previous working experience in a CPA or Corporate Services firm
- Excellent time management skills, ability to multi-task, prioritize work, self-motivated, able to work under minimum supervision and be pro-active and responsive
- Exceptional communication skills in both verbal and written English
- Strong computer skills including solid experience with MS excel, Word and SharePoint
- Experience with Xero Accounting software or other cloud-based accounting systems would be highly advantageous
