Hon Ting Man

Marco is a counseling psychologist in Hong Kong, with consolidated skills in mental health counseling and vocational counseling. I have rich experience in helping teenagers who are seeking to develop and understand themselves, and who may be facing problems due to difficult relationships, family problems, bullying victimization, low self-esteem, loneliness, trauma, and psychiatric symptoms. My experience is primarily in working with teenage and adult individuals, though I also have experience running regular parent support groups and providing follow-up counseling services to them. 

I was working at Counseling and Research Centre for 2 years, and at HKICC Lee Shau Kee School of Creativity for 1 year as a counseling psychologist trainee. Regarding my duty, I usually conducted assessments and interventions for students with psychological needs, especially for those who are experiencing academic stress, crises, suicidal ideations, family issues, bullying events, and psychiatric symptoms. I also do individual and group counseling with students who presented with special educational needs (SEN), developmental issues, or desires to enhance self-understanding.
