- Act as assurance testing specialists and lead junior staff in the team that supports assurance-related assignments within IBG
- Review or improved on existing IBG assurance framework and methodologies. Coordinate the implementation, training and communication of such framework and methodologies to all locations.
- Be the coordinator for assurance-related work and projects
- Design training materials, provide training and coaching to Business RMs and Centralized CDD teams
- Conduct analysis to the QA results and provide recommendations to address the risks, including but not limited to people, policy, process and system enhancements.
- Support and assist for testing related committees and/or planning meetings.
- Be sensitive and aware of financial crime risk landscape of the bank and the financial industry at large and thus be ready to advise management on mitigation strategies and/or partner with stakeholders in addressing the risks.
- Value-add to the management, compliance and stakeholders from testing's findings and analysis through partnership in planning corresponding training and advisories.
- Assist or co-coordinate in ad-hoc major scale investigation and thematic reviews where necessary.
- Minimum of a bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant working experience.
- Minimum 5-7 years or above of relevant experience
- Prior Assurance Testing or testing-related experience (QA) will be advantageous
- AML/Sanction/KYC/Transaction Monitoring/Investigations related knowledge would be essential
- Detail oriented, analytical and inquisitive
- Able to apply technical knowledge and make sound judgements
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Relationship management skills to enable effective cross-functional communication with Front-line staff, Centralized CDD Team and Compliance
- Adaptable to a fast-paced environment and able to work under pressure
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and with others

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Team Lead of ARC, to ensure staff are in full compliance with internal AML risk and compliance policies/ standards, external regulations, and industry's best practices. Assurance Risk and Control team is a critical control function within IBG to ensure robust assurance testing and respective thematic/ specialised reviews for prevention and management of the unit's AML and financial crime risk.
