- Lead new product development of electronic, mechanical and refrigerant product systems (ie gauges, valves, dispensers, applicators), by working with internal cross functional team members, external design agencies and suppliers.
- Lead product improvement projects to realize cost, quality, performance, or supply benefits for existing products by working closely with suppliers and internal partners.
- Conduct engineering analysis using appropriate methods, such as calculation, testing or FEA. Develop working prototypes.
- Define test protocols, develop test methods and conduct development testing to ensure readiness for production, distribution and consumer use.
- Ensure product meets relevant national, international and industry standards.
- Plan, execute, analyze and summarize plant trials working closely with Manufacturing, engineering, and production technical resources.

- 3+ years of applicable experience
- 3+ years project leadership experience
- Fluent in English and Mandarin
- Familiar with 3D CAD modeling (Solidworks)

- Preferred experience in design and product development of small mechanical devices and components, such as gauges and dispensers
- Travel, including international, up to 25% may be required. The employee will also be expected to participate in routine teleconference meetings with global colleagues in different time zones.

Position Summary
As a Product Development Engineer in Energizer's Global Auto Care R&D Team, you will develop and/or improve consumer devices and mechanical systems for new or existing auto care products by collaborating with cross functional partners including marketing, procurement, operations, and quality assurance. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in leading technical projects.
