- Lead the planning and execution of regional events for Group Distribution team
- Strategize event promotion and produce event collaterals at Group level to meet business objectives through events.
- To find the best and most appropriate options for each event while optimizing budget and resources.
- Develop close collaboration with Group Distribution partners to drive clear and consistent program governance practices to handle and report event risks.
- Jointly work with Group Distribution stakeholders and event vendor to develop overall event plan and to ensure the event in each quarter is implemented as planned.
- Plan, coordinate and implement Group Distribution events, which include (but not limited to): provide direction and guidance to the event vendor on AIA expectations and deliverables manage the performance and results of the vendor coordinate with local business units on event logistic arrangement ensure event collaterals aligned with corporate guidelines and aligned with brand promise be responsible for the expense of the projects
- Establish and maintain central repository of event materials, toolkit, and processes
- Scope out external speakers and programmes to improve engagement
- Ensure all events run efficiently and within budget
- Analyze success of each event and generate reports
- Be the SME on event management
- Successful delivery of regional events and conferences, including measurements through post-event surveys
- Effective budget management to improve the outcomes & results
- Effective stakeholder engagement and collaboration
- Candidates with less experience will be considered for a Manager role.

About the Role
1.To deliver regional events for Group Distribution each year (to keep our agents, distributors, clients, and partners engaged and motivated) and ensure they remain outstanding with all attendees looking forward to them every year2.To ensure the quality of these events and sponsorships remains industry leading, innovative, and consistent with AIA's brand promise and thought leadership across all our distribution channels (agency, partnership distribution, corporate solutions and digital platform partnership)
