- Defining and driving the future of the bank digital design. Be a part in identifying product strategy and envisioning the ecosystems and inspiring teams to push the boundaries of what's possible
- Providing a clear vision of the future of UI for the services
- Elevating and strengthening UI Design as a practice following a User Centred Design methodology
- Prioritizing and Coordinating design deliverables by developing a solid understanding of business needs and customer needs
- Designing solutions that meet or exceed strategic objectives
- Defining, developing and presenting innovative visual design concepts across multiple channels
- Working iteratively to create initial concepts, user flows, wireframes, storyboards, visual design and prototypes
- Creating engaging layouts in line with branding guidelines
- Collaborating with User Research, CX team, product management and development teams to understand user needs, identify design opportunities and create meaningful product experiences
- Overseeing the implementation of the design assets and layouts, leveraging existing design patterns and systems
- Execute all visual design stages from concept to final hand off to engineering
- Providing quality assurance on creative deliverables
- Visualizing customer insights using appropriate artifacts Requirements
- Graduate degree in Design, Interaction Design or related degree desirable. Graduates from other disciplines with experience in user interface design would also be considered
- 5+ years' experience in interaction and visual design
- Extensive experience of User Centred Design methodology and its practical implementation
- Expert in best practice when designing for multiple digital channels and cross device
- Skilled in the use of industry standard tools. Experience in MS PowerApps and Adobe Smartforms a plus
- Expertise in visual communication using appropriate tools and artifacts
- Highly developed communication skills, both written and verbal, to explain complex or technical issues.
- High levels of resilience and self-motivation
- Good relationship management skills to satisfy a wider range of internal and external customers with conflicting priorities
- Strong people leadership experience including performance management, team development and a track record in motivating and inspiring others to excel
- Experience of working with and managing agencies particularly for usability testing a plus

We are currently seeking a high calibre professional to join our team as a Digital Product Design Manager.
Principal Responsibilities
We are recruiting a UI Design Manager to join a forward-thinking, creative, dynamic team to help us deliver an exceptional Customer Experience for our Corporate customers in Asia-Pacific.
Our customers want to focus on building and growing their businesses – and we want to support them in doing that by removing their financial stresses. To support our customer experience vision, we are changing the way we think and work across Wholesale Banking in Asia-Pacific (ASP WSB). Our Customer Experience has been established to be a front-runner in our business to both deliver material improvements for our customers and colleagues, while also transforming Wholesale Banking to be a customer-led organisation. As part of CX, our team of Service Designers and Design Researchers will support these goals by helping our business to fundamentally change the way we create and deliver solutions.

The role of Digital Product Design Manager will be responsible for design activities across the multi-disciplinary teams implementing the Customer Experience vision in the region. You will be responsible for advocating and delivering design activities that are based on a strong understanding of the needs of our customers and colleagues. You will also help on defining and growing the design discipline within WSB and building the foundational infrastructure and resources needed for a streamlined design operation across the organization.
