- Build and maintain strong relationships with blue-chips / state-owned enterprises (SOEs) in the global banking segment.
- Act as the primary point of contact for assigned clients, ensuring effective communication and understanding of their financial goals and requirements.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including credit, risk, and product specialists, to develop tailored banking solutions that meet client needs.
- Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote a wide range of banking products and services to clients.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and risk assessments of clients, including creditworthiness evaluation, industry analysis, and financial statement reviews.
- Prepare and present credit proposals and other client-related reports to internal stakeholders for credit approval.
- Monitor and manage the overall credit quality of the portfolio, ensuring compliance with internal policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and competitor activities to identify potential business opportunities and mitigate risks.
- Achieve revenue targets and contribute to the overall profitability of the corporate banking division.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve client inquiries or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Relationship Manager or similar role in corporate banking
- Strong understanding of corporate banking products, including lending, trade finance, cash management, and treasury solutions.
- Sound knowledge of credit analysis, risk assessment, and financial statement analysis.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the banking industry.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple client relationships, and prioritise tasks effectively.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin is required. Additional language proficiency is a plus.
