- 7+ years of experience in a similar role
- Able to multitask and manage multiple competing priorities
- Able to review conference rooms on a weekly basis, coordinating with IT and other technologists
- Experience with designing and supporting AV-heavy spaces such as conference rooms, classrooms, auditoriums/lecture halls, and recreation spaces
- Comfortable assisting with the technical production, hands-on delivery, and support of company events
- Committed to providing excellent support during 'Live Events' over collaboration tools like Zoom, Webex, and other cloud conferencing solutions
- Experience with Crestron, Extron, BiAmp, QSC, and Dante technologies, as well as Cisco video conferencing solutions
- Have an understanding of networking fundamentals - vlan, subnetting, basic routing, and other network functions
- Willing and able to travel to other offices as needed
- Fluency in English required

About the Position
We are looking for an Audio/Video (AV) Administrator to design, implement, and support our robust and resilient AV infrastructure. Technology is a key component of Jane Street's core business, and our AV needs are evolving as we grow.
In this role, you will be responsible for supporting all audio-visual systems, collaboration tools, and teleconferencing services, including live event support, video processing, and digital signage. You should be passionate about the Audio/Video technology space and eager to help solve business issues by researching, testing, and implementing these technologies.
The scope of this role is broad, and relies on you to act as a subject matter expert for AV system design, from maintaining and supporting our existing technologies to reviewing designs for new and expanding spaces. You'll be expected to provide exceptional technical support, whether during a field installation or while troubleshooting directly with end users. Our AV Engineers also coordinate closely with our Technology and Infrastructure teams during expansion projects to ensure the infrastructure needs of each AV project are met, including developing timelines, scopes of work, and support processes.
